TeamShepard

Team Shepard is comprised of family & friends of Eric Shepard. Eric is diagnosed with Hemophilia B or Factor 9 Deficiency. Eric has never allowed hemophilia to define who he is or let it stop him from pursuing his dreams and goals. Eric has made serving others a primary part of his life.  He has attended speciality camps for hemophilia, participated in Step Up Reach Out, National Youth Leadership Institute and served as a SWOHF Board of Trustees member. Eric was the recipient of the Ryan White award for his outstanding contributions to the hemophilia community. Eric's compassion and willingness to serve led him to a career in medicine. Dr. Eric Shepard is a Palliative Care Physician with Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Eric, his amazing wife Katherine and sons Jack & Rowan continue to be involved and support SWOHF and encourage each of you to make a difference in a life by participating in the BDA 5K  in person or virtually through walking, running, cheering and/or donating to this worthy cause.
